Mark what stays
Walls, MEP, and finishes that remain are called out before the first bar hits. A shared pre-job walkthrough locks the stop points and any municipal permit needs.

Sequence with abatement
When ACM or mold is in play, demolition follows the containment plan, never the other way around. Abatement clearance gates each demolition phase.
- Step 03
Clear the floor for rebuild
Debris out, floors broom-clean, and a shared punch list for the next crew. The scope your GC inherits is the scope we agreed on.
Demolition and abatement on one plan
Separating abatement and demolition contractors creates handoff gaps that cost time and risk compliance. When ACM estimates both scopes, the containment plan, phasing, and debris sequencing are written into a single schedule, so the work flows without stopping to re-clear.
